Of our three dogs, Miles is the least tolerant of Fiori. He pretty much just gets up and moves away whever she comes near. And if he thinks she is touching him, he makes this weird noise like a combination of a howl and a growl. It's not threatening but it's like he's telling her to stop annoying him. Fiori of course ignores him and keeps on playing with him until he finally gets up and leaves.
So it was kind of cool to see this today. It's a start.

Hey there. I love reading your blog. I found it on the Hope website. I had a question... if you wouldn't mind. It seems like it took an insanely long time to get your little girl from the time you were referred. Is this normal for hope?
Thanks!
Jenny
Not normal. We had paperwork issues that led us to being one of the longer cases. Although I have heard that there is a general slow down across all agencies and it now takes longer than it did (for the faster cases) than when we were going through.
This is great! For both of them. Miles is nice and patient and calm, and Fiori is not at all obnoxious. It's amazing how she just goes right in, not worrying at all about teeth and that giant mouth.
Yep, no fear. You should have seen her yesterday. She was right in the middle of the three dogs. One was trying to lick her face and the other two were playing tug-o-war and growling up a storm and she was in the middle giggling. We might need to teach her to be a bit more cautious when we are around dogs not our own.
